AR-AFFF Foam

CLASS B FIRE PROTECTION

Fire Protection for Hydrocarbons and Polar Solvents

LCF FIRE AR-AFFF Alcohol-Resistant Aqueous Film-Forming Foam Concentrate is engineered for Class B flammable liquid fires involving hydrocarbons and polar solvents, including alcohols, ketones, and esters. The firefighting foam spreads rapidly across the fuel surface, forming an aqueous film on hydrocarbons and a protective polymeric membrane on polar solvents to reduce foam breakdown and suppress fuel vapors, while delivering rapid fire control, cooling, and burnback resistance.

Designed for fuel storage terminals, oil refineries, chemical plants, and fuel loading facilities, LCF FIRE provides professional foam fire suppression solutions. Available in 1%×3%, 3%×3%, 3%×6%, and 6%×6% formulations to suit different fuel types and foam proportioning requirements.

Freshwater & Seawater Options

Formulation options for freshwater or seawater support industrial, marine, and coastal applications. Seawater suitability is model-specific.

Foam System Integration

Select the appropriate formulation for foam monitors, foam chambers, and foam-water sprinkler systems, with matched proportioning and discharge equipment.

Four Proportioning Options

Available in 1%×3%, 3%×3%, 3%×6%, and 6%×6% formulations for selection by hydrocarbon or polar solvent fuel type and system proportioning requirements.

Choose the Right Foam Concentrate

Match your foam concentrate to the fuels you handle, the equipment you use, and the conditions on site. Use this checklist to guide your selection.

  • Identify your fuels, including any alcohols, polar solvents, or fuel blends.
  • Define the areas to be protected and whether you’ll use fixed systems or mobile firefighting equipment.
  • Check that product testing and approvals cover your fuels and intended application.
  • Confirm that the proportioning ratio and viscosity are compatible with your proportioning and discharge equipment.
  • Verify suitability for your water supply, storage temperatures, and operating conditions.
  • Review local fire protection requirements, PFAS restrictions, and disposal requirements for spent foam solution.
  • Plan for storage, periodic testing, and replenishment. Check system cleaning requirements when replacing an existing foam concentrate.
