HIGH EXPANSION FOAM

ENCLOSED SPACE FIRE PROTECTION

High Volume Foam for Effective Fire Control

LCF Fire High-Expansion Foam Concentrate produces large volumes of foam when used with suitable high-expansion foam generators. The foam fills protected spaces and surrounds burning materials, helping limit air access and cool the fire. It is designed for total flooding applications in enclosed areas such as warehouses, basements and ship compartments, where direct access to the fire may be difficult.

High Volume Coverage

Generates large volumes of foam to fill protected spaces and surround burning materials for effective fire control.

3% and 6% Options

Available in 3% and 6% formulations to suit different firefighting system requirements.

Protection for Hard-to-Reach Areas

Helps control fires in enclosed areas where smoke or restricted access makes direct firefighting difficult.

Choose the Right Foam Concentrate

Match your foam concentrate to the fuels you handle, the equipment you use, and the conditions on site. Use this checklist to guide your selection.

  • Identify your fuels, including any alcohols, polar solvents, or fuel blends.
  • Define the areas to be protected and whether you’ll use fixed systems or mobile firefighting equipment.
  • Check that product testing and approvals cover your fuels and intended application.
  • Confirm that the proportioning ratio and viscosity are compatible with your proportioning and discharge equipment.
  • Verify suitability for your water supply, storage temperatures, and operating conditions.
  • Review local fire protection requirements, PFAS restrictions, and disposal requirements for spent foam solution.
  • Plan for storage, periodic testing, and replenishment. Check system cleaning requirements when replacing an existing foam concentrate.
