AFFF Foam

CLASS B FIRE PROTECTION

AFFF Firefighting Foam for Hydrocarbon Fuel Fires

LCF AFFF foam concentrate (Aqueous Film-Forming Foam) is designed for Class B hydrocarbon fuel fires involving gasoline, diesel and other petroleum fuels. Its film-forming action helps suppress fuel vapours and control fire spread, supporting fire protection applications in oil storage facilities, refineries, airports and marine terminals.

Available in 1%, 3% and 6% grades, our firefighting foam concentrate offers options for different project requirements. We help you select the appropriate grade, review foam system compatibility and obtain product-specific technical documentation.

Freshwater & Seawater Compatible

Suitable for firefighting systems using either fresh water or seawater, making it ideal for marine, offshore and coastal applications.

Foam System Compatible

Suitable for foam monitors, foam chambers, sprinkler systems and proportioning systems.

Flexible Concentration Options

Available in 1%, 3% and 6% concentrations to meet different firefighting system requirements.

Choose the Right Foam Concentrate

Match your foam concentrate to the fuels you handle, the equipment you use, and the conditions on site. Use this checklist to guide your selection.

  • Identify your fuels, including any alcohols, polar solvents, or fuel blends.
  • Define the areas to be protected and whether you’ll use fixed systems or mobile firefighting equipment.
  • Check that product testing and approvals cover your fuels and intended application.
  • Confirm that the proportioning ratio and viscosity are compatible with your proportioning and discharge equipment.
  • Verify suitability for your water supply, storage temperatures, and operating conditions.
  • Review local fire protection requirements, PFAS restrictions, and disposal requirements for spent foam solution.
  • Plan for storage, periodic testing, and replenishment. Check system cleaning requirements when replacing an existing foam concentrate.
